NOTE TO VISITORS

I am resuming my series "Window on Eurasia" today.  I am fortunate that my leukemia is now under control, and I have recovered as well from recent heart surgery.  I plan to post one or two items a day at least to start, but there may be occasions when my medical condition will prevent that.  I want to thank all of you who have contacted me in the past and look forward to more exchanges in the future.
