Staunton, March 10 – Compared to survey
results in May 2018, the percentage of Russians who say they are intensely
interested in politics has fallen by
three percentage points to ten percent, the Levada Center says, but those who
say they are moderately interested has risen by about the same amount to 39
percent (levada.ru/2020/03/10/vozmozhnoe-golosovanie-za-partii-2/
and capost.media/news/politika/opros-interes-rossiyan-k-politike-snizilsya-/).
Other changes including which
parties Russians might vote for and whether they would take part in an election
and how they view the motivations of members of the elite – only out for themselves
or dedicated to the people – have changed little with most shifts being within
the sample’s margin of error.
