Staunton, July 4 – Since Vladimir Putin launched his expanded invasion of Ukraine on February 24, there have been a minimum of 23 attacks on military recruitment centers and a serious increase in the share of 63 rail accidents that may be attributable to attacks as well, according to The Insider portal.
Of the 23 attacks on recruitment centers, 20 involved the use of Molotov cocktails. Some of the attacks were filmed by the perpetrators or others; and some of those who carried out these anti-war attacks have been arrested and charged (https://theins.ru/politika/252389 and https://meduza.io/feature/2022/07/05/v-rossii-kak-i-v-belarusi-poyavilis-relsovye-partizany).
A shadowy group calling itself the Military Organization of Anarcho-Communists has taken credit in many cases and issued guidance on how to carry out such attacks, arguing that doing so is an effective way both to express opposition to the war and bring it to a rapid end and also carries minimal risk of arrest and punishment.
